WHY DID YOU BECOME AN AESTHETICIAN?
Originally, I wanted to become a professional makeup artist. As I became more educated in the skin care portion of the course, I saw the amazing effect you can have on someone’s appearance that goes beyond “covering up”. Though I must confess, I’m still a makeup enthusiast! Thank goodness for our gloMinerals cosmetics line!!!
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?
Meeting our patients that look to me for advice can be very rewarding! Most people are so much more beautiful than they give themselves credit for; but if I can help them see how truly great their skin can be, then that’s icing on the cake.
BEST SKIN CARE ADVICE?
Cleanse twice a day! (Especially at night). Use a good SPF with plenty of UVA and UVB protection and use something for skin renewal; retinol or AHA’s.
FAVORITE SKIN CARE PRODUCT?
Obagi CRX Exfoliating Day Lotion…smells great and feels amazing.
