Daniel Wallis, M.D.

WHY DID YOU WANT TO BECOME A DERMATOLOGIST?

Dermatology is visual, there are lots of procedures, and it’s hands-on.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF YOUR JOB?

Finding and treating skin cancers.

I START EACH DAY:

With a good breakfast.

IF YOU COULD HAVE A SECOND OCCUPATION, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Maybe a biologist or something for the national or state parks. I very much enjoy the outdoors and wildlife.

I AM NEVER WITHOUT:

A pair of sunglasses.

BEST SKIN CARE TIP?

A broad-brimmed hat is easy to put on and take off, protects most of your head and neck, and helps keep you cool!

SKIN CARE PRODUCT NO ONE SHOULD BE WITHOUT?

A good face sunscreen.

HOBBIES:

Too many! Hiking, camping, running, riding bikes, home-brewing, fixing up cars, guitar
