What role does my physician play in my skin care regimen?

Just as your physician plays an important role in your overall health, he or she also plays a role in helping you maintain healthy skin. With any skin care regimen it’s important to consult with your dermatologist. He or she can analyze your skin care routine, tell you what’s working, and determine what you can do to further enhance the health and beauty of your skin.

COVID-19 NOTICE

Due to Covid-19, non-essential skin condition appointments will be rescheduled and our offices will be closed until further notice. Our phone lines are still open to receive incoming calls for urgent matters and refills. Please keep in mind that refills will be answered within 24-48 hours from initial call.

We are also offering TeleMedicine as an alternative for those patients who want to keep in touch but do not require in-person care. Most insurances will be honored as usual. TeleMedicine appointments are digital visits, performed from the comfort of your home using your cell phone, tablet or camera-enabled computer. You will be able to speak with and see your provider in real-time. The provider will ask you to use your camera to show them the rash, spot, or condition you are concerned about, and will proceed to counsel you and prescribe medications as applicable, just like an in-office visit.

If you wish to schedule a TeleMedicine or in-office appointment, please call your preferred location.

Finally, take care of yourselves and take care of those within your community.
Please remember that all those working to provide “essential” services are working tirelessly, doing their very best to support you.
